The Father and Son

John 5:19-29

We gather every Sunday to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed. God's Word is preached and the Holy Spirit transforms our hearts. We expect to encounter God and be equipped to better serve him each week.

Thanks to all who missed the sermon because you were serving during the service. We are grateful for you and couldn't have done it without you. Enjoy listening to the recording.

Ladies Seminar This Saturday

Women Helping Women Follow Jesus

How should I measure success?
When have I done enough for God, my family, and the church?
What do I do with my feelings of failure?

These are the questions the women of Sovereign Grace are addressing at their Spring seminar this weekend. Our women’s ministry director, Kirsi, will give a brief teaching. There will be prayer, discussion, and a meal. It’s a potluck brunch.

Ladies of all ages are invited.

Community Doesn't Just Happen

We Do ‘One Another’ Ministry

Twice a month we gather in homes throughout the city to know one another, grow with one another, and serve one another. The Bible is filled with “one another” commands: Love one another. Pray for one another. Speak truth to one another. Bear one another’s burdens.

Small groups are our strategy for equipping you to do “one another” ministry.

Our church loves small groups. And the warmth of relationship we experience in this church has been fostered in these smaller meetings. So if you’re new to the church and wondering what the next step to connect is, join a small group.

There’s more info here. Contact our office if you want to talk to a pastor.

Don’t be anonymous.
Don’t be unknown.
Don’t be a lone ranger.

Jump in with a few people who love God and would like to get to know you and help you love God as well. Join a small group.

Loving the City and Breaking a Sweat

Old Towne Joggers

The Old Towne Joggers are pounding the pavement every Wednesday morning for a short run in our neighborhood. We end each run with a cup of coffee. It’s a simple way to make connections in our city. If you’re a runner (or want to be), join the joggers early next Wednesday morning. Details and email sign-up are available here. You can also follow them on Instagram to stay updated. Email Dustin with any questions.

Unemployed, Underemployed, or Looking for a New Job?

Come to Pray and Be Prayed For

“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”
Matthew 6:26 ESV

At our monthly prayer service next Tuesday, we’re setting aside time to pray for those among us who are in financial trouble or looking for work.

God doesn’t promise to give us the perfect job, but He promises to provide. He offers you peace that passes understanding while you wait. We’d like to pray for you in faith. We’re setting aside 1 hour at our prayer service to do just that.

So come next Tuesday, 4/9/2024, from 7:00pm-8:00pm to receive prayer and pray for others. God is going to meet you through our prayers.

Turn In Your Treasure Chest

Generous Kids

Think back to February. Can you remember that far? It was Church Appreciation Month. We provided treasure chests to all the kids so they could fill them with coins and bring them back to be donated to House of Hope. Here are the instructions.

There’s Still Time to Turn It In

If you haven’t gotten to it yet, help your child fill their treasure chest up with coins or bills and bring it to us this Sunday. Contact Melissa Goins if you have any questions or want to drop it off another time.
