We Sing What We Love

We sing about Jesus because we love Him.

We sing about Jesus because we need Him.

This Sunday join us in singing a new song that connects our great need to our even greater Savior. Listen above or use our Spotify playlist so that you're ready to sing with us.

CHRIST IS MINE FOREVERMORE
Verse 1

Mine are days that God has numbered
I was made to walk with Him
Yet I look for worldly treasure
And forsake the King of kings
But mine is hope in my Redeemer
Though I fall, His love is sure
For Christ has paid for every failing
I am His forevermore

Verse 2
Mine are tears in times of sorrow
Darkness not yet understood
Through the valley I must travel
Where I see no earthly good
But mine is peace that flows from heaven
And the strength in times of need
I know my pain will not be wasted
Christ completes His work in me

Verse 3
Mine are days here as a stranger
Pilgrim on a narrow way
One with Christ I will encounter
Harm and hatred for his name
But mine is armor for this battle
Strong enough to last the war
And He has said He will deliver
Safely to the golden shore

Tag
And mine are keys to Zion city
Where beside the King I walk
For there my heart has found its treasure
Christ is mine forevermore

Bridge
Come rejoice now, O my soul
For his love is my reward
Fear is gone and hope is sure
Christ is mine forevermore!

Book Recommendations For Romans

Is God Anti-Gay? by Sam Allbery. It's the hot topic of the moment. Christians, the church and the Bible seem to be out of step with modern attitudes towards homosexuality. And there is growing hostility towards those who hold a different view. So is God homophobic? And what do we say, and how do we relate to to both Christians and non Christians who experience same-sex attraction.

The Difficult Doctrine of the Love of God by D.A. Carson. The only aspect of God's character the world still believes in is His love. His holiness, His sovereignty, His wrath are often rejected as being incompatible with a "loving" God.

One Sin Leads To Many More Sins

God does not simply let go of the boat. He gives it a nudge.

Pastor Eric continues our series through the Book of Romans, preaching from Romans 1:26-32. Sin begins with a lie about God. Our lies about God lead to more lies about God. The very one we lie about is the only one who can save us from our own sin.

Romans Is PG-13

Parental guidance is necessary.

This week our sermons through Romans begin addressing some challenging topics. The letter was written to Christians who lived in a city like any other city. Good and bad. They saw it all.

Although we aim to be modest, parents should anticipate the need to answer questions and help younger listeners. You can identify future sermon passages here.
