Church Appreciation Month

We celebrate the blessings of belonging to a local church every February. We pass out swag. We hear testimonies. We eat food. We welcome new church members.

This Sunday, we are offering every household a copy of Who Governs the Church? by Jared Mellinger. In many ways, this little book serves as manual for leadership here in Orange. We all have a part to play and the way we play our part matters.

few theological topics have the ability to induce sleepiness among so many, while at the same time also generating heated debate among others, as does the issue of church government. I want to help Christians find a middle way between apathy and combat. I believe every Christian should care about church government. This is because healthy church governance contributes to the joy of the church and the preservation of the gospel.

Psalm 139

Psalm 139

We gather every Sunday to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed. God's Word is preached and the Holy Spirit transforms our hearts. We expect to encounter God and be equipped to better serve him each week.

Thanks to all who missed the sermon because you were serving during the service. We are grateful for you and couldn't have done it without you. Enjoy listening to the recording.

Donate to the Wildfire Relief Fund

Our sister church in Pasadena continues to sort through all of ways the Easton Fire has impacted them and their community. At this time, many of the church members are still displaced. Many are dealing with damage to their homes. They are now in need of a temporary Sunday facility. Their current facility is closed through February.

Thankfully, many individuals and sister churches have contributed to their benevolence fund. This is the best way to help them at this time. Please consider making a donation.

We plan to welcome a new group of church members in February. If you are wondering whether or not our church should be your church, now is the time to learn more about church membership.

The process:

  1. Join a small group and attend consistently for 3 months

  2. Read through our membership packet

  3. Complete our membership questionnaire

  4. Be interviewed by a pastor

  5. Sign our membership covenant

  6. Be welcomed as a member during a Sunday service
